The PicoSure laser is the number one treatment today for removing unwanted tattoos and pigment. Not only does it eliminate pigment, but it is a fabulous way to rejuvenate and gently resurface the skin.
Introducing, the PicoSure Focus Facial. This short pulse laser flashes extremely quickly, (one trillionth of a second!) meaning less heat which equals less downtime for you.
Less Heat? Does that mean less results?
Absolutely not! The PicoSure uses Pressure Wave technology. This advanced technology is able to convert laser energy into a gentle pressure. This pressure squeezes the skin cells, accelerating cellular communication. This, in turn, stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin.
Yes! We want you to be able to go on with your everyday activities. With the Focus Facial most people experience 1-3 hours of redness. Makeup and sunscreen may be applied right after the treatment.
How many treatments are needed?
Depending on the targeted results, our laser technicians will give you an educated estimate. On average 2-5 treatments are needed.
What does the Focus Facial feel like?
The treatment feels similar to the snapping of an elastic band. We provide a patented (by our very own Dr.Taher) topical numbing cream to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. During the procedure, a Zimmer is also used which helps to cool the skin.
How long does the treatment take?
The treatment is quick and takes about 30 minutes in total. It is a safe, fast, and extremely effective laser.
How long do the results last?
The Focus Facial yields permanent results for scarring and wrinkles. With time, of course we cannot stop wrinkles from reoccurring without maintenance treatments. The same goes for pigment. An SPF of 30 is always required and will prevent new pigment from forming, but pigment can be recurrent.
What does maintenance look like?
We recommend coming back every 6 months to maintain the beautiful results of the Focus Facial.
Consultations are always complimentary.
